OK "Real Playa's"........
Here's a doozy for you!!!!
Four handed, final table of the home game MTT.
$200 antes and blinds are $500 / $1000.
UTG makes it $4000 to go and it folds around to the BB.
BB takes his time and decides to call. He also announces a blind "check."
Since it's PRE-FLOP,... UTG announces, ALL-IN."
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT ?

Please put your best T.D. hat on and answer the question honestly.
Remember... verbal bets are binding of course. BUT there's ACTION, albeit verbal action. With "action," do the cards get dealt, or does the BB need to address the "action" before anything else happens?
I'm counting on the "real" NLHE experts to get this right.
What should happen next?
My sincerest thanks for dropping by....

WOW!!! A Question just for me!!
personally if it was up to me, id stab the BB for being a div.
The BB could make a third blind action of folding or calling the allin blind.
The BB shouldn't have to do anything yet since the flop should be dealt before he is forced to make his decision.
If BB does fold or call allin blind he should be invited to next game immediately.
I think the BB now has the option to see the flop, and as stated check to UTG. UTG then is all-in as declared and the action is back to BB prior to the turn.
I think the un-binding of verbal action based on other action may only be viable in multi-way pots, I'm not 100% sure it holds true for heads up play is as this case.
BB should get to see the flop and decide after since the action went in order.
There is no question...BB doesn't have to respond untilafter he sees the flop.
IMO, both verbal declarations are binding. BB can respond before the flop or after the flop.
I think everyone is right. BB could go ahead and just wait and see the flop, or could, if he wanted, blindly call the all-in before the cards hit the felt. But he wouldn't be able to back out of his all-in call once the cards were flopped, IMHO.
Again, I think everyone is right, which means I also agree that pain should be inflicted upon one of these two dudes....although it might be wise to wait until the conclusion of their pissing contest so that no male anatomy is harmed. I'm not *that* mean, lol.
Yeah, action went in the right order. BB should get to see a flop and decide whether to call or fold to UTG's all in.
...IMO.
Is this really a question that comes up that people do not know how to handle?
BB verbal commit to check.
UTG verbal commit to ALL-IN.
BB may choose to call ALL-IN Blind; however, has the option to see the flop before committing to any further action.
