Welcome back to another edition of Truckin' featuring selections from five veteran scribes. Milton T. Burton shared a conspiracy tale, while May B. Yesno penned a sultry story, and Betty Underground returned with the first part of a series of stories about... colors and other things. And what's Truckin' without a story from the legendary Johnny Hughes? His topic, this time? Sandstorms. Oh, and I almost forgot about a short story that I penned about Brooklyn.
Please spread the word about Truckin' by any means necessary. You will increase your karma tenfold by telling your friends and family about your favorite stories. The writers write for free so they only compensation they get is the knowledge that people are digging their blood work.

Reflections of a Cave Dweller....
Stuff you should already know, but just in case!
1) Poker is S-T-U-P-I-D and should only be attempted by those wishing great harm on their Heart. (and of course Liver, if you're doing it right)
2) All Women should be treated with class, dignity and respect! That is of course, until they do something to make you see otherwise. (see also : Poles, Begging for tips & Single mom's with parents in Eastern Block Countries sections)
3) It is NOT your right because it's supposed to be your right. Each and every right is so very special, that even the little ones must be earned. ( see also : Entitlement, Poker & Douche-Bag sections)
4) The World needs to realize that humour really IS a funny thing. It applies so differently in so many situations and to so many unique beings, that it's really a wonder that more wars aren't started by some kind of joke. (see also : Sarcastic, Entitlement & Douche-Bag sections)
5) I really appreciated everyones well wishes for my recent celebration of aging. I had a blast all weekend and can't say enough about what kind of a lucky S.O.B. I am, to have such great group of family and friends that actually WANT to hang around and do crap with a Kid like me.

Frantic Friday : Back to Back(sides) Edition.... [NSFW]
Since my back and I can't agree on anything comfortable at all, I'll just stay parked on my azz until it can make some kind of decision and stick to it. I swear, my back is one of "those" Females! You know the one? She loves the Blue Dress but then sees it in Red and you just know that there will be hours out of your life that you will never get back, as she decides on which one she likes better.
Thankfully, I no longer know "that" Female, but my back is getting dangerously close to that stupid character trait!
So since we're talking about backs and Females, today we should come to terms with one of the most important laws of any descent Frantic Friday.
I don't think it can be said any better than that, do you? I mean, guy's like us go looking for a nice piece of :
when we start realizing, we have to be honest with ourselves. We really need to take a good look in the :
and see what we can do to offer up a little something of our own, to the ladies that we're after.
Maybe we could do something about that :
we've managed to let go a little too long. It shouldn't take too much to make it go away should it?
Maybe we could combine the excersise with our love of azz and kill two birds with one stone?
NAH ! With our luck, they'd all end up being :

Who knows? Maybe if we get involved even in the smallest of ways with these girls, we might find ourselves that one very special piece of :

Brought to you by the letter D....
Down for the count.
Late yesterday afternoon while reaching around behind me for a file folder of information that I needed to update a customer, I suddenly found myself face down on the floor and in excruciating pain. There was no doubt about it, I'd just popped something in my upper back. Fourth time this has happened to me that it's literally, brought me to the ground.
Just brutal!

Disappointment, total and utter disappointment!
I signed up for the Skillz game last night and think I had every reason to be very optimistic about taking it down. The game was 7 card STUD, a game that I've already had three Skillz victories at before. Without a shadow of a doubt, that would be my best shot at a T.O.C. seat during the BBT4. And as most of you know, that means it is my entire BBT! Unlike the NLHE regulars, I'm fighting for the T.O.C. seat and will consider the BBT a success, if I get one. I know I'm not good enough yet to take one down with a NLHE win, so I know I have to do what I can to use my advantage during cems Skillz series to get it done.
When I took my seat 15 minutes before game time, I knew there was no way my back was going to take that position for any amount of time. I tried three different chairs and several types of pillow/chair combinations, it just wasn't happening. I needed to be at rest and on my back. My best shot at a BBT4 T.O.C. seat would have to wait. I logged out and signed off knowing how big the opportunity was, that I was going to have to miss.
I see Lightning ran deep in fact, all the way to heads up. Congrats on the great run! That should really come as no surprise to anyone that's played in the last few STUD format games with him and, I honestly had a feeling you'd be the competition in the game last night. Well done and GG.

Delight! Just incredible happiness and delight for a friend.
One of my "invisibles" has done a pretty amazing job of a project that he's been working on. I've felt incredibly fortunate to have been kept in the loop with what he's doing as well! It's really an incredible idea and I always try to let him know how proud he should be of his work.
But deep down, Amir is still a Poker player first. You can tell it in his words, his actions and definitely, you can tell it in his play. My friend Amir has obviously had some respectable success in the few live events he's entered for sure but lately, Amir has been discussing his on-line play and successes with me as well.
The fine folks over at the now more beautiful than ever PokerStarsBlog, did a great job of recapping Amir's second place finish for $142,970.07 in this past Sunday's PokerStars Sunday Millions.
WooooOOOOOooooT !!!!!!!
I've already told Amir how proud I am of him for running so deep in a quality field such as that. He also knows how good he should feel about a 39th. place finish in the WPT's BAY101. I just thought I'd share my pride in his success' with all of my other "invisibles" as well.
Now to get some extra strength muscle relaxants and go completely comatose for 72 hours or so.
