Dear Anonymous....

I assume that anyone with one of these bloggy type thingies, gets as many Anonymous comments full of crap on a daily basis as I do. It seems I spend more time deleting comments these days, than I do posting them. Recently though, I have been getting the odd comment from "Anonymous" that I thought deserved better than just me dropping a response back to them in the comment section.

So here's how that worked out for me.

"Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones, you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!"

Well thanks Anonymous!
Might I also add, your comments are now vastly superior to your previous efforts as well. All that talk of purchasing Zyban, Viagra, Cialus or other med's was well.... a bit on the irritating side. If we're being totally honest here. I was actually thinking that I was going to have to call my Doctor, as I was finding that I had irritation that was lasting longer than four hours.

I do also appreciate all the attention you send my way for potential blast's to the blog and certainly the potential boost to hits, is something I take very serious. Perhaps we could create cash together someday but for right now, I think I'll just be content to chug along as things are.

"I just can't get into hockey. When I watch it I get so bored."

Dear Anonymous,

Getting into the fastest game on the planet typically doesn't happen. You either have it or sadly IMHO, you don't. Perhaps it's because you're watching at the NHL level? Where top pros can often be seen calling it in for 150 of the 182 game schedule every year. I know that I often even get tired of watching multi-millionaires wait for a "big" game, to show up and earn their keep. But the sport itself is a passion held deep within. Once set in motion, the love of Hockey only grows stronger in your heart.

I have a suggestion for you dear Anonymous, maybe watch tonight's Gold Medal game of the IIHF World Junior Championships. It has two things going for it that just perhaps, may keep you from getting so bored during the game.

1) These guy's ARE NOT getting paid yet. They are in fact trying to impress the scouts of the top NHL teams, so that they can eventually capture one of those ludicrous contracts of professional sports themselves. That makes them still hungry and still hungry almost always means, you'll get to see the game played at the best level you'll ever get to.

2) It's Canada vs. The USA. This has become the new "Canada/Russia" of Hockey. It's the absolute best you'll find right now, in the love/hate relationship of Hockey. These 17, 18 and 19 year old kids all play together as teammates for the most part, in either the Ontario Hockey League, The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League or The Western Hockey League. But you'll quickly see that any reference to teammate, all goes out the window when you put your opposing nations sweaters on and go out there against the best!

I hope you do watch dear Anonymous and while you do, I hope you can also hear me cheer EH, O, CANADA GO !

And finally Anonymous said....

"Face it, The Packers just suck!"

So the NFL isn't your thing either huh Anonymous?

Seriously, "suck?"

I'm not exactly a stats guy or anything but I'm pretty sure the vast majority of the 32 team owners in the NFL, would gladly take the numbers that my Packers put up this year.

So there you have it! That's my take on 3 of the hundreds of Anonymous comments posted lately here in Bedrock. Keep it up "Anonymous." I love it when someone makes me think and get all passionate about stuff.

My sincerest thanks for dropping by....

After having my pro hockey team suck for so many years, I can assure you that in my area people are going nuts over the NHL season.

Here come the Hawks, the mighty Blackhawks ...
