Frantic Friday : The Good Decisions Edition.... (NSFW)

As I sat back and focussed on the plans I had for the rest of my day, I realized that I'd need to make a few good :

So I figured I'd better start the day with :

As I was eating, I sort of had :

It came to me that I should write something about :

NAH !

It's way too nice to sit inside and play that game and besides, with what the girls are wearing with all the nice warm sunshine around these parts, I really lack the :

to put such a post together.

So instead I :

up something in the form of a little early :

So sit back and relax, while I work out where this Frantic Friday is going to take us. Maybe you should do like me and grab a :

to sip along the way.

I'm thinking we should take full advantage of the :

available, since they really are a :

We don't want anything around here, to start :

Speaking of :

I'm really hoping the weather cooperates just a little this weekend, as I have plans to get down to the beach to do a little "ART" window shopping and maybe even a bit of :

If the weather does hold up, you may even find me out at the :

checking out all the swingers.

One thing however is for certain. No matter what the weather does, this weekend you will not find me stuck down in :

or basement playing :

In fact I'm pretty sure the only way you'll find me inside for any period of time over this weekend is I'll be sleeping, or taking advantage of any :

to take part in some :

with my Peb's. But who says that has to be an inside sport anyhow?

;)

Maybe I can get Peb's into one of those :

or :

that she looks so HAWT in!

And I mean HAWT as in :

A weekend with my red-HAWT Peb's, NOW THAT's A GREAT DECISION !

And I wave...and I'm smiling....

The titles a bit of an inside joke, but that's really what today is all about.

I just find myself doing a lot of smiling.

As I ran out of the cave this morning, running being the product of one too many snooze buttons, I suddenly found myself frozen at the front step. Big goofy grin on my face for absolute certain. For almost over night, there came signs of life in the front garden.

It's not really much of a garden compared to some out there I guess, but considering it's our first effort at having one and only our second season at it, it just made me happy that a few of the damn things seem to want to come back.

With an entire family full of Farmers and Gardeners, I am the one with the black thumb. Honestly, plants tend to wilt as I walk through the Greenhouses that sell them.

So I stood there looking all childlike and simple I'm sure, when a car drove by at a fairly slow speed. I turned to see what neighbour it may be but soon realized, it was a complete stranger. A stranger that simply looked in my direction and then, they smiled and waved. And I wave.... and I'm smiling.

I turned back to take a last look at the buds holding in that much wanted explosion of colour, and I kept smiling. I looked over to the new garden that we put in this year.

I love the colours and even more, I love the fact that there is now life, where there was none before. This was a dead area, receiving light but never moisture. Now it's vibrant and alive with flowers of all kinds.

Just then, Peb's took a peak out of our bedroom window. And I wave.... and I'm smiling.

The traffic on the Highway to Hell this morning, seemed eerily lighter than normal. Yet all of the usual suspects from my twice daily drives, were present. Since I was still proud of myself for helping to create such beauty just outside our front door, as I came across the first of the regulars I pass each and every morning, I slowed down just a touch as I approached her. And I wave.... and I'm smiling.

The large black diesel GMC pick up was getting close enough to bearing down on me as it usually does each day. As I frequently tell Peb's, I may drive a little on the fast side, but there's ALWAYS someone that wants to go faster. I picked up the throttle and found an opening in the middle lane. As the black exhaust ploomed out of the trucks tailpipe with the pressure of the accelerator peddle, we were suddenly side by side. And I wave.... and I'm smiling.

I continued this pattern at each point along the drive. As I approached every regular I see daily on the drive, I would wave.... and I would be smiling. Sometimes the feedback was instantaneous. I'd get a smile and little wave right back. It set a few others back at first though. They'd take in what must have been one of the weirdest things they'd seen in a little while, then they'd eventually make the effort to send a little wave back my way. But always as in every single time, they'd be on their way with a little smile. And I wave.... and I'm smiling.

I made a stop at the corner donut shop on the way in. When I walked in to the plant, I just stood there and I wave.... and I'm smiling. We started production with a coffee and donut break this morning. Now they're all out there with a wave.... and their smiling.

When I fired up this idiot box today, there was a mail with a joke from a friend.

And I wave.... and I'm smiling....

Take a moment or two, they're small....

Just a couple of brief points.

Corporate Bedrock has a thing for my azz today it seems, so not a lot of time to get anything jotted down.

But there is time to hope that you'll stop by Otis' place and let him/them know that your pulling for them real hard.

I personally can't even begin to imagine what their going through. I've been extremely fortunate to have had a VERY un-eventful childhood, of Not-so-mini-Peb's. All the scraped knees, cracked heads and cuts and bruises are expected. These are just the rights of passage to the next level. All pale by comparison, to what they must be feeling at every turn of events.

= = = = = =

House cleaning time again. I'll be sorting and sifting through the connections over to the right there, probably over the next couple of days. I'll be honest with you, those links are the places I really DO try to read daily. Some aren't writing for one reason or another and most are sorely missed. But as with most things, a little cull might only make it stronger. It's far from anything personal.

I may just add a section for links and move it a little bit down the page.
Who knows?

The Moneybammer effect ? ....

On the one hand, (or should that be in?) there's almost nothing left.

To buy that is!

Peb's and I just dropped a tad shy of a WSoP Main Event buy-in over the weekend, what with home improvements being all the rage around here.

There's a new Tankless Water Heater and Iron Filter to be installed. Something like eighty new 2" x 6" x 16' deck boards on their way to the backyard, so the cave can have a new dance floor! Oh and the new Garage Door Closer, is already up and has done it's job perfectly. The Garage door is closed! Now if I can only figure out what the Hell I did wrong, so I can get it to be a Garage Door Opener too! Several other various projects were also acquired and it looks to be a pretty busy Summer out in Bedrock.

Blows my mind how easy it was to just wander around and disperse cash all over the Town! It almost came too easy for me.

"That'll be $2500.00 please Mr. Bam."

"Okey-Dokey. Here you go!" and it was said with a smile on my face. Just down the road, there was another similar conversation.

"Isn't that one just a little bit better? I'll take it instead."

"Ah excellent choice there Bammer! I'll need $1700.00 from you for that one."

"Seems reasonable." came from between these lips, as if it was $1.50.

Now I'm far from cheap or anything like that, but it's not everyday I run around spending five figures either! It was a bizarre combination of exhilarating and terrifying. A bunch of Fun and Fear, all wrapped up into one massive explosion of spending.

Yes, this weekend we did our best to provide an economic stimulus for the fine folks around Bedrock. We didn't exactly provide the entire bailout package that they may have been looking for, but I could certainly tell how much this little shopping spree meant to a few of the fine folks actually doing the work out on the floor. Several of the purchases were made "outside the box" because I feel that those businesses are the real hub of our community. But when it came time to grab those bigger ticket items, unfortunately there was no one that could compare in price and bang for the buck, like one of the bigger "boxes" out there.

For a couple of items I saved hundreds of dollars, got WAY more features and really am happier overall with the product in general. I felt a little dirty though. Oh well! I've washed up and I'm over it now.

So lots of Money flies out, just as some new Money takes the time to drop in.

I fired up all things Twitter this morning and much to my surprise, I had picked up another follower. I actually dread going to see who the new followers are, as it seems I'm a magnet for spammers looking for their own economic bailout packages.

This morning however, was a pleasant surprise indeed. The Money coming in I'd mentioned, was this guy.

What kind of "effect" do you think this could have on me?

Should I suddenly feel the urge to be funnier or more entertaining when I Tweet? Perhaps I should start detailing my "every man makes good" kind of lifestyle stories in Tweet form? Hmmmm......... I'd better "make good" first I guess huh!

Who knows why or how? Still, a pleasant little surprise to get my day started.
